STODFIN CO LIMITED - TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Introduction

Welcome to Stodfin Co Limited ("Stodfin", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile app, website, and financial services, including business loans, education loans, boda boda loans, and quick loans.

By accessing or using Stodfin’s services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using our services immediately.

2. Eligibility

Stodfin services are available to users worldwide, subject to regulatory compliance. You may open an account or apply for loans if you:

Are at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction).
Have a valid government-issued ID (National ID, Passport, or equivalent).
Provide accurate, complete, and verifiable personal or business information.
Agree to comply with Stodfin’s policies and applicable financial regulations.

2.1. Know Your Customer (KYC) Verification

All users must undergo KYC verification before accessing loan services.
KYC is conducted through StodacomDesktop, Stodfin’s advanced due diligence and risk assessment system.
Users must provide valid identification, proof of address, and other required documents for verification.
Additional verification checks may be required for high-risk transactions or large loan amounts.

Stodfin reserves the right to decline applications if users fail KYC verification or provide false information.

2.2. Supported Currencies

Stodfin operates in the following currencies:

Uganda Shillings (UGX)
United States Dollars (USD)
Other select currencies based on regional partnerships
All loans, repayments, and transactions will be processed in the selected currency available in your country.
Users must ensure their accounts support the chosen currency for seamless transactions.

2.3. International Users & Restrictions

Users from all countries are eligible to create an account and access Stodfin’s services.
Loan approvals and disbursements are subject to local financial laws, compliance checks, and payment infrastructure availability.
Some services may be restricted in jurisdictions with specific regulatory requirements or sanctions.
Users are responsible for ensuring they comply with their country’s tax and financial reporting obligations when using Stodfin.

3. Loan Services & Financial Obligations

3.1. Loan Application & Approval

Loan applications are available globally, but approval is subject to risk analysis, KYC verification (via StodacomDesktop), and regulatory compliance.
Users must provide valid identification and proof of income (if required).
Stodfin reserves the right to approve, reject, or modify loan amounts based on credit risk analysis.

3.2. Loan Terms

Minimum loan amount: 150,000 UGX (or equivalent in selected currency)
Repayment period: 4 weeks to 12 weeks
Interest rate: 2.8% per 4 weeks
Processing fee: 10,000 UGX per 100,000 UGX loaned (or equivalent in selected currency)

3.3. Currency Conversion & Exchange Rates

Loans and repayments will be handled in UGX, USD, or other select currencies based on the user’s location.
Where applicable, exchange rates will be determined at the time of disbursement or repayment.
Users must bear any currency conversion charges imposed by financial institutions.

3.4. Repayment & Default Policy

Users must repay loans on or before the due date using available payment methods (mobile money, bank transfer, Stripe, crypto, etc.).
Late payments may incur penalty fees and impact future loan eligibility.
Loan defaults may result in:
- Credit bureau reporting (if applicable in your country).
- Debt recovery through international collection agencies.
- Legal enforcement in the user’s jurisdiction.

4. User Responsibilities

By using Stodfin’s services, you agree to:

Provide accurate and truthful information in all transactions.
Complete KYC verification through StodacomDesktop.
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Use the services for lawful financial purposes only.
Comply with loan agreements, payment deadlines, and financial commitments.

Users must not:

Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or money laundering activities.
Misuse Stodfin’s services for illegal purposes.
Violate international financial regulations.

Stodfin reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or take legal action against users violating these responsibilities.

5. Data Privacy & Security

Stodfin collects, stores, and processes user data in compliance with our Privacy Policy.

Personal and financial data is encrypted and not shared with unauthorized parties.
Stodfin follows High-Level Security Standards for fraud prevention.
International users' data is handled according to GDPR, CCPA, and global privacy laws.

6. Compliance with International Financial Regulations

Stodfin adheres to:

Uganda’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws
Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations via StodacomDesktop
Credit reporting laws
International financial compliance standards (GDPR, FATF, etc.)

Stodfin cooperates with global regulatory authorities and may report illegal activities to law enforcement.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

Stodfin reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of:

Failure to complete KYC verification through StodacomDesktop.
Fraudulent activities or security breaches.
Repeated loan defaults or policy violations.
Engaging in illegal financial activities.
Misuse of Stodfin’s platform or services.

Users may request account closure by contacting support@stodfin.com.

8. Amendments & Updates

Stodfin may update these Terms periodically.

Changes will be communicated via email, app notifications, and website announcements.
Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
